Fremantle
Saturday 28th November 2026
Venue
When: Saturday 28th November 2026
Where: The Left Bank, 15 Riverside Rd, East Fremantle WA 6158
Timings: Please arrive at 4pm to welcome Laura and Dan at 4.30pm
Children are welcome until 9.30pm, and the venue closes at midnight.
This is more like a party than a traditional wedding, so come dressed for dancing!
Food and Drinks
We have our own bar! So there will be a big selection of pub favourites available, with your first couple of drinks on us.
An array of platters, pizza and other pub goodies will be provided throughout the afternoon and evening, and if you feel like ordering something more, the friendly staff at the bar will help.
Getting to the venue
The Left Bank is a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride on the 910 bus from the Fremantle Train station.
The 910 bus also leaves really regularly from the centre of Fremantle.
Taxis are easily available from the train station or Fremantle centre – either Uber or 13Cabs which can be booked through their app or on 13 2227.
Parking
There is a carpark at the Left Bank, but will likely be busy on a Saturday afternoon. There is street parking around the venue, but please keep an eye on signs for regulations and cost.
The East Fremantle Number 4 carpark is another large carpark just a little further down Riverside Road where the Dome Cafe is located, and East Street Jetty carpark is back down near the old bridge.

Gifts
Thank you for your kind thought of gifts, but we don’t need anything! However, if you would like to bring a cheap, fun, silly or cute item to donate to the raffle table – please do! Think of it like a Secret Santa type gift, or something that reminds you of Dan and Laura. This is of course not obligatory, but it does sound fun doesn’t it?

Raffle? What is that?
Yes, we are holding a raffle! Everyone gets a free ticket on arrival, then you’re in with a chance to win a fun prize to remember the occasion. Imagine the fun of the Chocolate Wheel at the Brunswick Show circa 1994. What would you like to win at a raffle? Also yet another excuse for Laura to get on the microphone.
Staying the weekend?
If you’re from out of town, why not make the most of the trip and stay for a few days in Freo! You don’t have to hang out with us ALL the time.
There are Airbnb options, but if you’re after a hotel, check out the below links

Plans for the rest of the weekend

Friday:
For anyone already in Freo on Friday who would like a casual welcome drink, meet us at Gage Roads Freo Brewery at Victoria Quay any time from 6pm. We’ll have a couple of beers, get some snacks and hopefully watch a nice sunset. Children are also welcome at the venue.
-
Sunday:
We’re aiming for Sunday recovery fish and chips at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, for anyone who can stick around. Meet us at the Bon Scott statue near Cicerello’s at 1pm for a takeaway seafood/chippy lunch. Hopefully we can sit in the sunshine!
If the weather isn’t looking too promising we’ll let you know the plan closer to the time.
Other things to do in Freo while you’re here:
Head to the Freo Markets for all your snacks/candle/weird gift needs.
Go to the Shipwreck Museum – who doesn’t love niche WA history? Plus, giant boat!
Wander down to South Freo for the great beach, then check out some places to eat and drink. Kerfuffle for coffee and Percy Flints for beers are both lovely.
